Dining at Congham Hall
Family celebrations, intimate meals for two, formal business dining or a light snack in the lounge, the cuisine in at Congham Hall is a truly memorable experience.
Our chefs use only the finest seasonal produce, sourced locally where possible, to produce genuinely imaginative dishes that delight and inspire. Our working kitchen garden is where you'll find around 700 different varieties of herbs. A stroll around the herb gardens in the early summer evenings when the air is fragrant with heady aromas is a delight for the senses.
The cellars are equally impressive, offering an excellent selection of both rare wines and vintages for special occasions and more everyday wines.
The Orangery Restaurant at Congham Hall leads directly on to the terrace, is beautifully light and airy and seats up to sixty-four guests. Watch the sun set and owls swoop in the gathering twilight or simply enjoy the panoramic views of horses grazing in historic parkland - a quintessentially English landscape.
For private dining, the Writing Room, seating up to eighteen and situated in the quietest corner of the house, is an ideal choice.
Afternoon tea is a real delight, served either in the hall, lounge or weather permitting, outside on the terrace. Two varieties of homemade scones are baked daily and served with clotted cream and homemade preserve, delicate fresh fruit tartlets are hand crafted by our Chefs and are a wonderful addition to our full afternoon tea. Why not accompany afternoon tea with a chilled glass of Champagne?
