Rooms

Our 26 bedrooms are individually decorated, united by the luxuries of a comfy bed, Eygptian cotton bed linen and cosy dressing gowns and they are all named after herbs from the garden. Comprising of 15 rooms in the main house and 11 in the garden, all vary in size and all enjoying different aspects of the garden. Rooms are priced according to size, see our room tariff for details.

House Rooms are the rooms in the main house and are decorated in a more traditional style. There are 3 room categories in the main house; Good House, Better House and Best House.
Good House rooms are our standard room, these are located in the old Georgian manor and are arranged across the first and second floors; they are traditionally decorated, in keeping with their surroundings.

Better House rooms are slightly larger and are again located in the old Georgian manor and are arranged across the first and second floors; they are also traditionally decorated.

Best House rooms are larger still and are located on the first floor of the old Georgian manor; they are traditionally decorated.

Garden Rooms are rooms either around the courtyard garden or that look onto the Herb Garden. All have their own terraces with garden furniture and all are furnished in a more contemporary style.
Better Garden rooms are located to the rear of the old Georgian manor on the ground floor of recently converted barns. They are decorated in a more contemporary style, come with their own terrace area, and have luxury bathrooms with freestanding baths and waterfall showers.

Best Garden rooms are larger and are again, located to the rear of the old Georgian manor on the ground floor of recently converted barns. They are decorated in a more contemporary style, come with their own terrace area, and have luxury bathrooms with freestanding baths and waterfall showers.

Suites
Our two suites are located in the main house and are arranged across the ground floor and first floor. They are traditionally decorated, with a separate sitting room, bedroom and en suite bathroom.

We also have a pair of interconnecting rooms which are suitable for families.

All our rooms now have a “room larder” which houses a Nespresso coffee machine, a kettle and mini fridge
