About Congham Hall
In 1982 Congham opened as hotel, prior to that is was a family home. Today, it is still welcoming people. With its’ cosy log fires, stylish interiors and friendly staff it offers the perfect combination for a relaxing break in the country.
Our Congham Hall story
The current custodians of Congham Hall are Ruth and Nicholas Dickinson and their business partner Nick Dillow, who salvaged Congham from the wreckage of the von Essen era! Since 2012 they have been restoring the heritage, refurbishing, tweaking and nurturing it into the success story you find today.
Explore the beauty and activities of Norfolk
Norfolk has an undiscovered beauty. A hidden gem, with plenty to explore. Unrivalled sandy beaches on the North Norfolk coast, often home to a brisk walk along the sand dunes or a game of family cricket. Endless historic houses and gardens, towns like Burnham Market and Holt with plenty of independent shops and restaurants and unique attractions such as Watatunga Wildlife Reserve, Pensthorpe Natural Park and Norfolk Lavender.
Experience luxury during your stay
Perhaps no better way to revitalise the mind and body is spending a few hours in the Secret Garden spa, or perhaps it is reading a book with a glass of wine in front of the fire. Sitting on the terrace in the summer months watching the wildlife in the parkland. However you choose to relax, we are sure you will find the perfect answer.
Which room will you choose?
With 31 different rooms to choose from, all with different aspects of the garden and all individually decorated we encourage guests to talk through the options with our reservations team, particularly if this is your first visit.
