There are 15 House Rooms located in the Georgian House, these are found on the first and second floor. The 11 Garden rooms are located around the Spa Garden. 5 Orchard Cabins behind the spa in the Apple Orchard. All rooms have FREE Wi-Fi, flat screen TV’s, slippers & bathrobes, complimentary mineral water, Nepresso coffee machine, a larder with homemade cookies and fresh milk. All our guests staying with us have access to the Secret Garden Spa .Some of our rooms interconnect too.
Standard Rooms
These are our standard bedrooms. All in the Georgian house. Two rooms located on the first floor and the remaining two on the second floor. These bedrooms are traditionally decorated in keeping with their surroundings.
Good House Rooms
These rooms a generally slightly bigger than our standard rooms, some have been refurbished in a classic style with a modern, fresh feel and new bathrooms. All are located in the Georgian house. Two of the rooms are located on the first floor and two on the second floor.
Better House Rooms
These are located in the main Georgian house on the first floor. All have been recently refurbished and are decorated in a classic style with a modern, fresh feel and new bathrooms. All have views of the garden.
Better Garden Rooms
These are located to the rear of the old Georgian Manor on the ground floor around the spa garden. They are decorated in a more contemporary style and have their own terrace area with patio furniture in the summer months. Luxury bathrooms with freestanding baths and waterfall showers. One of our Better Garden bedrooms has a disability friendly bathroom. These rooms are dog friendly.
Best Garden Rooms
These are larger and are located to the rear of the old Georgian Manor on the ground floor around the spa garden. They are also decorated in a more contemporary style and have their own terrace area with patio furniture in the summer months. Luxury bathrooms with freestanding baths and waterfall showers. These rooms are dog friendly.
Best House Rooms
These are newly refurbished contemporary rooms on the first floor of the main house which look out over the front gardens. Luxury bathrooms with freestanding baths and separate waterfall showers.
Dandelion Suite
Dandelion, our honeymoon suite, is located on the first floor. This Suite has been recently refurbished and boasts a feature bath within the main bedroom, has its own sitting room and has a private balcony with patio furniture, overlooking the parkland. It also has a wetroom with a large walk in rainfall shower.
Achillea Suite
Achillea is located on the ground floor at the front of the building. This very large suite has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. The sitting room has feature wallpaper by Harlequin and beautiful crushed velvet curtains from Sanderson now showcase the huge window which looks out on the flower garden. The bedroom is equally as large as the sitting room and enjoys the same views. From the dressing room the bathroom has a large walk in rainfall shower and a separate double ended Magnus bath by BC designs. Stay here and may not want to leave!
Orchard Cabins
These five brand new individual cabins look out over the historic apple orchard, behind the spa. Each cabin is 55sqm, providing a large peaceful space where our guests can immerse themselves in nature in the utmost comfort. Entering through your own private door, you will step into a spacious bedroom with sitting area and ensuite bathroom. You will be immediately struck by the wall of windows in the gable end which look out to the terrace with a freestanding bathtub, perfect for a spot of “star-bathing!” Rest assured there is a bath inside as well. Elegant contemporary interiors help the calming palate with specially commissioned artwork by local artist Jenny Lovatt and rug by Claire Gaudion. These are romantic hideaways, offering a soul-calming, mood-lifting experience.
